In a new interview, Kate Middleton revealed she can’t wait to meet Lilibet Diana, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s newborn daughter. The happy couple welcomed their daughter on June 4.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a message to everyone and thanked them for their support.
“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s second child carries the name of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, which is her nickname, and his late mother, Princess Diana.
Now Kate Middleton shared her excitement over the news.
Kate Middleton, who today met up with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, also received a question about Lilibet, and she said she can’t wait to meet her.
“I wish her all the very best. I can’t wait to meet her because haven’t yet met her. So hopefully that will be soon.”
And the reporter also asked Kate if she had video chatted with the baby yet. “No, I haven’t,” she replied.
