Jason Sudeikis opened up about his split from Olivia Wilde for the first time. In his GQ interview, the Horrible Bosses actor added that he’d have “a better understanding of why in a year.”
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have been engaged for seven years before their split. The couple shares two children, Daisy, 4, and Otis, 7. They ended things last year in November.
While there were rumors that Jason was expecting a reconciliation, Olivia started dating pop-rock singer Harry Styles. The two have been linked since the beginning of the year, and it looks like they’re still going strong.
In his new GQ interview, Jason addressed the split from Olivia, and shared: “I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year. And an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five.”
He added: “It’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle.”
While that might not be really accurate, given that she’s the mother of his children, but this is how he chose to react to the split: “That’s an experience that you either learn from or make excuses about. You take some responsibility for it, hold yourself accountable for what you do, but then also endeavor to learn something beyond the obvious from it.”
