Disney‘s Loki has just been renewed for season 2. The Marvel Cinematic Universe show it’s the first series who has plans for more than one season.
Disney’s Loki is the third series in the MCU Phase Four. First it was WandaVision, then The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and now Loki.
WandaVision was an absolute success, and it also received 23 nominations at Emmy Awards 2021.
Fans were divided when it comes to Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but Loki was also a success.
So much that it made Disney give the show a second season, which will please fans to see more of Tom Hiddleston as Loki, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It’s also rumored that Loki is expected to star in the second Dr. Strange movie, Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, there’s no confirmation about his participation currently.
Marvel’s next Disney+ series will be the animated What If… (which will debut on Disney on August 11). There’s also a Hawkeye series due in late 2021. Marvel has also other original shows (She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Iron Heart, Secret Invasion, Wakanda) in various stages of development.
