Vanessa Hudgens is coming back as Stacy, Queen Margaret and Fiona, and Netflix just announced when The Princess Switch 3 will return. And it’s a big mess of fun.
The Princess Switch debuted in 2019, starring Vanessa Hudgens in two roles. A baker from Chicago, Stacy, has a royal doppelganger, Princess Margaret. The two switch roles so they can see the other side of the life they’ll never live. Funny and Christmas-centered, the movie was so beloved, Netflix got it a sequel.
Here’s where the fun turned ridiculous, because The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again, adds yet another doppelganger, Fiona. And here comes the question, how many people look exactly like Vanessa Hudgens? The second movie didn’t make much sense, and it was definitely less fun than the first one. Stacy and Queen Margaret took out-of-character decisions, and its plot was senseless.
Regardless, Netflix is bring it back for The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star.
According to the production company, the three lookalikes must retrieve a priceless relic, resulting in a very unexpected switch. Yet again.
However, the spirit of Christmas might turn our brains into senseless-drama lovers, and will enjoy this one, too. Starring Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Hudgens, and Vanessa Hudgens, the third one will be available on Netflix on November 18.
