The road to a third baby wasn’t easy for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. The two shared that they wanted a lot of babies and gotten pregnant in 2020, but unfortunately lost the baby in October 2020. The two made the announcement via social media and, one year later, Chrissy wrote an emotional tribute to their stillborn whom they named Jack.

Over a year since their heartbreaking loss, the two resumed their IVF journey. Chrissy asked people not to ask her about the progress, but she was soon pregnant again. And she couldn’t have been prouder. She shared lots of baby bump pics, as she should, and even replied to people that claimed it felt like she had been pregnant forever. She claped back, “how do you think I feel thank u.”

But the happy couple recently welcomed their third baby. The proud father confirmed the news after the child’s arrival, which happened on Friday, January 15.

Legend, 43, revealed the news to a crowd at a private concert, sharing that they welcomed “the little baby this morning,” adding “What a blessed day.”

The singer added that while he “didn’t get a lot of sleep” he “feels energized” after spending “a lot of time” at the hospital.

At the moment of publication, neither Chrissy nor John revealed the gender or the name of the new baby.

Chrissy and the “All of Me” singer John Legend share Luna, 4, and Miles, 2, whom they’ve welcomed via IVF. John and Chrissy first met in 2006 while filming for his music video “Stereo.” He proposed in 2011 after four years of dating. They married in 2013 in Italy.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
