Over the weekend, Chris Evans married Alba Baptista in an intimate, at-home wedding. Of course, the guest list included some of Evans’ famous co-stars.
The ceremony took place in Massachusetts at their Boston-area home, Page Six reports. The outlet adds that the nuptials were “locked down tight,” as guests signed NDAs and phones were forfeited. So, we’re not expecting to see pictures any time soon.
For the occasion, the Avengers assembled again, as Chris Evans’ Marvel co-stars, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner also traveled to attend.
Ahead of the confirmation, gossip account Deux Moi also dished on the wedding in a Cheat Sheet subscription e-mail. According to a source, “Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth [were] spotted together in Boston for Chris Evans’ wedding today at The Street Bar at Newbury Hotel.”
Chris Evans and Alba Baptista’s Relationship
Evans, 42, and Baptista, 26, are notoriously private about their relationship. They first sparked romance rumors in November 2022. A source revealed to PEOPLE that the two had been dating for “over a year.”
“They are in love, and Chris has never been happier,” the insider said, already calling their relationship “serious” at the time. “His family and friends all adore her.”
Two years later, they tied the knot.
Despite the fact that they were quiet about their relationship, Evans didn’t fail to show off his girlfriend online. In February, the Captain America actor went Instagram-official with the Portuguese actress after posting a series of PDA-filled pics to his Instagram Story in honor of Valentine’s Day.
Alba Baptista is a well-known actress and model born in Lisboa, Portugal. The 26-year-old actress is famous for her role in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and Netflix’s Warrior Nun, as well as a series of Portuguese productions.
