They were on a break: Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer just reunited for the star-studded Super Bowl commercial for Uber Eats.
Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, famous for their roles as Rachel Green and Ross Geller, respectively, reunited for an ad for Uber Eats for Super Bowl 2024. The ad features several more celebrities, although Aniston and Schwimmer don’t play “friends” in the commercial. The stint promotes several features and items that users can order from the app, but, to remember all of those, they have to erase some “unimportant” details from their minds. Aniston explains, “Well you know what they say, in order to remember something, you got to forget something else. Make a little room.”
In Aniston’s case, she forgets who Schwimmer was. After receiving her order from a production assistant, she runs into Schwimmer, who leans in for a hug. However, it turns out that she hilariously forgot who Schwimmer was. Although he insists they know each other, Aniston asks him to “Give me a hint.” Visibly surprised, Schwimmer says, “Well, we worked together for ten years.”
Aside from Aniston and Schwimmer, the Uber Eats Super Bowl ad includes more famous faces. Some of those include David and Victoria Beckham (who sports a David’s Wife t-shirt), where they forget the name of Victoria’s famous band, Spice Girls, calling it “a pepper lady” and “cinnamon sisters.” Jelly Roll appears to have forgotten his several face tattoos, and this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, Usher, forgot he is playing this year.
How fun would’ve been if Schwimmer and Aniston had reprised their roles as Ross and Rachel and forgotten they were on a break?
