Ashley Tisdale Opens Up About Feeling Comfortable In Her Post-Baby Body

Ashley Tisdale opened up about her post-baby body. The actress shared that she still doesn’t feel “comfortable” in her body almost three months after giving birth.

There’s a sudden change in the honesty of celebrities and positive body image. In the past, it was always about looking unbelievable in any type of situation. No matter how unreachable those standards were.

And I’m not claiming everything is well now, and that people 100% accept other body types. It’s still a long way to go.

But we’ve reached a certain point where it’s easier to open up about normal things. And you don’t always have to look up to Victoria’s Secret’s unreachable beauty standards. Although some are naturally blissed with good looks.

Ashley Tisdale opened up about her post-baby body after welcoming her first child, daughter Jupiter.

Ashley took it to social media to every occasion to gush over her daughter, and how amazing it is to be a mother.

But it’s also very difficult. And it takes a toll on you, and your self-esteem as a woman. Which is something we should be discussing about more often and more openly.

Ashley wrote on her website Frenshe about her post-baby body, and shared a photo of how her tummy looks like now.

“I feel like this post is for everyone who looks in the mirror and thinks they should look better, especially after just having a baby. Instagram can really f*ck with your head…like really f*ck with your head. There are so many models and influencers that I’ve compared my own personal journey in “bouncing back” to. And then, I’m like wait they just had a baby and they look like that??”

“I’ve worked my butt off. Whether it’s hiking, pilates, riding on my Peloton, and yet, I still don’t feel comfortable in my body. Yes, I started to fit into some jeans again, but not the size I was wearing before. Everyone keeps saying that it takes time—it takes time growing the baby and it takes time losing the baby weight. And you know what? That’s the truth.”

Ashley welcomed her daughter on March 23, which is less than three months ago.

She continued: “Everyone is going to have a different journey and it’s important to not communicate negative feelings towards our own bodies. Thoughts like “you’re not good enough, you could look better” have to stop! And they especially need to stop when realizing that your body just created and gave life to another human being.”

“The bottom line: be kind to yourself and fill yourself up with love.”
