Barack and Michelle Obama never fail to show their love for each other, and the former President and First Lady celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Of course, they also wrote sweet messages to each other.
While a lot of people didn’t agree with Barack Obama’s administration (I mean…), one thing they could agree on: he and Michelle had the best relationship.
The way they publicly supported each other was the relationship goals we all aspire to. There always had each other’s backs and looked amazing while doing it.
We saw the two raise their daughters, Sasha and Malia, who grew up in front of our very own eyes, and watched them become the talented and independent women they are today.
Now Barack and Michelle Obama celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary, and, just like every year, they shared lovely messages for one another.
Barack Obama wrote: “Happy anniversary, Miche! Over the past 29 years, I’ve loved watching the world get to know you not just as a daughter of the South Side, but as a mother, lawyer, executive, author, First Lady, and my best friend. I can’t imagine life without you.“
On her side, Michelle Obama shared two pictures of the two, one when they were young, and one from the present, hugging. She wrote: “How it started vs. how it’s going. Happy anniversary, Barack—love you!”
