Shadow and Bone actor Ben Barnes announced he’ll be breaking out hearts with a debut album, and how debuted his first official music video for “11:11.”
Is there something Ben Barnes can’t do? We think not, because he’s the real package.
Given the fact that last year we all had more time to find and work on our passions, Barnes spent it uploading clips of himself singing at his piano.
But the response he got gave him the final push to pursue his dream to become a real musician, and, on his 40th birthday, Ben Barnes announced his album, Songs For You, which will be out on October 15th.
He wrote: “They say life begins at 40… well, not mine. I am 14,609 days old today and I am celebrating every one of them. I have spent most of them pursuing dreams, surrounding myself with people I love and supported by all of you… and I know just how incredibly lucky that makes me.”
Now Ben Barnes has also his first music video for the song “11:11,” off his upcoming album.
In the video, he stars alongside fellow Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood, and their chemistry is off the charts, as Evan Rachel’s character is the only woman he sees anywhere he goes. Ben announced her participation in the music video a week ago, with a Friends-like reveal.
Talking about the video, Ben said: “I am so thrilled to be sharing this with you after 20 years of wanting to release my own music and finally finding the right reasons… it’s never too late. Does the mirror number time 11:11 have mystical, cosmic significance?! Maybe not… but it can’t hurt to make a wish if you see it! My wish is in the song: for you to be ‘happy, free and fearless’ in the pursuit of your dreams. So make a wish for someone you love.”
