Better Call Saul‘s Bob Odenkirk gave an update on his health after collapsing on set while filming. The actor took it to social media to share he had a “small heart attack,” but that he is “going to be ok.”
A few days ago, Bob Odenkirk collapsed on set on July 27. The actor had to be rushed to the hospital in New Mexico. The actor was on set at the Sony Lot in Culver City, Calif filming the upcoming sixth season of Better Call Saul when he collapsed.
Bob‘s son Nick offered a brief update on his Instagram Story on Thursday, writing, “He’s going to be okay.”
Now Bob Odenkirk took it to Twitter to share a health update, and revealed he suffered a “small heart attack.”
The 58-year-old actor wrote: “Hi. It’s Bob. Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.”
He continued, “I had a small heart attack. But I’m going to be ok thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery. Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I’m going to take a beat to recover but I’ll be back soon.”
The AMC’s Breaking Bad spin of show has been filming its sixth and final season.
We wish him a speedy recovery!

To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week.
And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.
