Blondes to have more fun, and Billie Eilish is not an exception. The 19-year-old Grammy Award winner changed her hair early this year. Billie decided to part with her black hair and neon roots, and get a more natural-looking color. But the change took six weeks to accomplish.
But Billie seems to have more fun and try more things. The artist has just announced her upcoming album, Happier Than Ever. Billie announced new album will drop on July 30.
Prior to that, Billie seems to have ticked something off her bucket list: a tattoo. Billie Eilish shows off her tattoo in a new photoshoot for British Vogue. She is also on the cover, showing off her curves in a tight corset and skirt. The style is very unlike Billie, who normally wore baggy clothes. But it suits her perfectly. What is also unlike her is that she’s showing off her tattoo. After getting it, the young artist said she’d never show it to her fans.
The photoshoot is very 1960s pin-up style, with her new platinum blonde carefully curled. “I’ve literally never done anything in this realm at all,” Eilish tells Laura Snapes in the June issue for British Vogue. “Y’know, besides when I’m alone and shit.”
The new pictures are clearly a surprise to her fans. But embracing something new has always worked out for new artists, and it clearly creates the right buzz for her upcoming album.
When it comes to her tattoo, Billie seems to have gotten something like a snake, or something with a tail. One follower even thought it looked like hair.
What’s her mantra coming forward? “It’s all about what makes you feel good. If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f**k it – if you feel like you look good, you look good.”
