Bridgerton has just released the official trailer for season two, which is two weeks ahead of its premiere.
Historical romance fans will be in for a treat this season. The Shonda Rhimes Netflix show will return with a second season.
Although it might not star Rege-Jean Page as Simon Hastings again, Bridgerton has a lot of treats for its fans.
No one expected Bridgerton to become such a success. But it was all everyone was talking about when it premiered in December 2020.
And the show, based on Julia Quinn’s novels, received a second season, and that surprised no one. Every novel focuses on a different couple from the Bridgerton family. The second one will have Anthony, the eldest in the family.
A known Rake for the society, the Viscount Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) is in search for a wife, and he would settle for nothing less but the season’s “incomparable.” Which is Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran). But to get to her, he has to win her sister’s heart, Kate (Simone Ashley), who is not so easy to impress.
The infamous Lady Whistledown will return with more gossip and intrigue, and the second season promises to be just as steamy (or even steamier) than the first one.
