Britney Spears is so close to getting her freedom back, and posted a video of herself dancing, adding her In the Zone song, “Brave New Girl” in the background. She also commented on why she loves directing and dancing by herself, saying she felt like a “caged animal.”
Britney Spears released In the Zone, which included “Brave New Girl,” back in 2003. The album included most of her breakthrough singles, like “Toxic,” “Everytime,” or “Me Against the Music.”
After she went through her phone, Britney shared on her Instagram account, that she discovered a lot of songs of hers that never became singles. Like “Brave New Girl.” A song that gets so little recognition outside her Britney Army fandom, the song features great lyrics and the typical Britney voice we know and love.
As if she had a premonition of what’s to come, Britney Spears, who always shared she felt “overprotected” (see what I did there?), she sings: “She’s gonna pack her bags / She’s gonna find her way / She’s gonna get right out of this / She don’t want New York / She don’t want L.A.”
A recurrent theme in her music, Britney complained about the aggressive way the media harassed her for years. To no avail.
But she really is a “Brave New Girl” tonight, and she’s showing everyone how strong she is in a million different ways.
She wrote: ” I made this video in a two hours … edited all of it … I know some videos can be made in a day or two … pulling all nighters and then some movies talk almost a year !!! Phone Booth was made in 10 days … HOLY CRAP 😳”
Britney continued: “do I know the challenge in waiting around during a shoot … I feel like I have been a caged animal for half of my life …that’s exactly why I choose to direct myself … do my makeup myself … produce myself … dress myself … make music myself … feed myself … and shoot videos and pics myself 🤷🏼♀️ 🤷🏼♀️ 🤷🏼♀️ !!!

I think for now, Britney needs all the praise and support she can get, because she really is “Stronger” than yesterday.
