Congratulations are in order for Britney Spears, who just announced she’s engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari. The couple met in 2016 on the set of her music video, “Slumber Party.”
It’s been a difficult decade for Britney Spears, but good things are to come. Her father, Jamie Spears, recently filed a petition to end the conservatorship she’s been in since 2008.
Britney proved she is stronger than yesterday, and spoke up this year about the abominable things she had to endure over the last few years, but it’s all, hopefully, getting to an end.
On the happiest note, Britney Spears just took it to social media to announce that she’s engaged to Sam Asghari, her longtime boyfriend. In a fun video, the “Baby One More Time” singer shows off her ring, and looks ecstatic over the new proposal. In the video, Asghari asks her if she likes it, and you can feel her excitement as she yells “yes,” before the video cuts. She captioned the a:nnouncement “I can’t fucking believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!”
Asghari’s manager Brandon Cohen also confirmed the engagement, and also revealed that Sam spend big, getting Britney a “one-of-a-kind ring.”
