This day should remain in history as the world’s best day ever. Taylor Swift just released Red (Taylor’s Version), Avril Lavigne has a new music video, and Britney Spears is finally free!

After being in a conservatorship for 13 years, this year was a year of changes.

This June, Britney’s addressing to the court was streamed live. Everyone found out what actually happened behind closed doors. And Britney Spears’ fandom, who conducted the #FreeBritney movement, finally got the confirmation they were right.

And we’ve seen small wins ever since.

Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, was removed as her conservator not long ago. And now, she doesn’t need anyone else, because she’s Stronger than yesterday.

Prior to her appearance in court, Britney sported a #FreeBritney T-shirt, as shared by her fiance, Sam Asghari. Now, Asghari just posted that she is finally free.

Los Angeles Superior Court, Judge Brenda Penny officially determined that she no longer needs the conservatorship, and it should end effective immediately.

From now on, Britney can go and plan her upcoming wedding, and even have more children. And, who knows? If we’re really, really lucky, she might come back on stage soon enough.

But let’s give her a break for now, because she deserves it. Congratulations, Britney! And, to be honest, the Britney Army deserves the world.
