Britney Spears‘ longtime manager Larry Rudolph has just announced he resigned. He also claimed Britney plans to “officially retire.”
There are a lot of changing happening for Britney Spears.
The “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer spoke against her conservatorship in a hearing last month. She also made her desire known that she wants to end the conservatorship.
Britney’s also intending to start a family with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and revealed the conservatorship didn’t allow her to have children.
Now the latest bombshell around Britney is that her longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, has just resigned. He has been managing Britney since the beginning of her career in the mid-1990s.
In a letter Deadline shared on Monday, Rudolph informed Spears’ co-conservators, Britney’s father Jamie Spears and court-appointed conservator Jodi Montgomery, that he was resigning.
Larry Rudolph wrote: “It has been over 2½ years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus.”
“Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire. And as her manager, I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”
Prior to the official hearing where she addressed the judge, Britney replied to a fan’s question whether she’ll take the stage again. At that time, Brit said: “Am I going to take the stage? Will I ever take the stage again? I have no idea. I’m having fun right now. I’m in a transition in my life and I’m enjoying myself, so that’s it.”
