All good things come to an end, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine reached its final season. The beloved NBC sitcom will return this summer, with two episodes per week.
If you haven’t binge-watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine, what are you doing with your life? Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg with his funniest and fittest role so far. The cast also includes Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio, Joel McKinnon Miller, and Dirk Blocker.
The comedy following the exploits of Det. Jake Peralta (Samberg) and his diverse, funny colleagues as they police the NYPD’s 99th Precinct.
The show has currently ran for seven seasons. But the eight one came with a delay because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The season finale for season seven aired in April 2020. Usually, fans were expecting the show to get back on track at the end of 2021, but they had to shut down production.
While the Brooklyn Nine-Nine final season will be shorter, you’ll get more fun if you’re up to date. NBC has decided to air two episodes per week starting.
The fun group also plans to “go out in a blaze of glory” for their final season. Coming from creators Dan Goor (Parks and Recreation), Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation, The Office), I cannot wait to see what comes next!
The show will premiere on August 21, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with a second episode following at 8:30 p.m.
