Christina Applegate just revealed to her fans that she received a multiple sclerosis diagnostic. The Dead to Me actress has been very open about her health in the past, and this revelation is not out of character.
Christina Applegate is very open about her life with her fans. She draws attention to important issues, like early menopause or insomnia, but also more serious stuff.
Years back in 2008, Christina was diagnosed with breast cancer. She a double mastectomy, and had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in 2017. The latter was just a precaution as she carries the BRCA1 gene mutation.
She also was vey open about dealing with menopause, and her long battle with insomnia.
Now, Christina Applegate revealed that, months back, she received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.
She wrote on Twitter: “It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some asshole blocks it.”
The Married with Children actress added in another tweet: “As one of my friends that has MS said ‘we wake up and take the indicated action’. And that’s what I do.”
Applegate then asked for privacy “as I go through this thing.”
