The actor recently premiered his latest movie, Red Notice, which quickly became the #1 movie on Netflix. In its cast, Johnson stars alongside Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, and it’s as fun as it gets.

But Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson got into the holiday spirit, and gave his personal custom truck to a Navy vet.

He revealed the nice gesture with a very emotional video on his social media, starting with him surprising the superfan at a screening for Red Notice.

Initially, The Rock had planned to give him the Porsche Taycan shown in the movie, he revealed. In his caption, he said: “My original idea was to give away the Porsche Taycan, that I drive in the movie, Red Notice. So we reached out to Porsche, but they said no.”

But he didn’t give up, and continued: “But I still said, yes. I’ll do one better. I’ll give away my personal custom truck as the gift. My baby.”

By the way, we’re talking about a Ford F-150 Raptor, which he has customized.

He revealed that he learned about everyone who came to the special hearing, and Oscar Rodriguez‘s story moved him the most: “I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me.”

About the superfan who ultimately got to drive away with his truck, Johnson wrote that he “Takes care of his 75 year old mom. Personal trainer. Leader at his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud & humble Navy veteran. Kind human being.”

And this is why it was relatively easy for him to give up his truck, whom he called his “baby.”

But he did the nicest gesture, and Rodriguez was even moved to tears when he found out he got Johnson’s car.
