Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift‘s new collaboration song, “The Joker and the Queen” music video has just been released. And, as we might expect from the two, it has a sentimental meaning.

After his performance at the 2022 BRIT Awards, Ed Sheeran confirmed he will release a new collaboration with his good friend, Taylor Swift. The song was one from his latest album, = (reads Equals), called “The Joker and the Queen.” Initially, Swift doesn’t feature on the album version, but she does for the official single.

Sheeran and Swift have previously collaborated several times. One, for “End Game,” off reputation, and “Run,” released as a Vault Track on Red (Taylor’s Version).

Now, “The Joker and the Queen” debuted the official music video, and it comes with emotional strings attached.

Sheeran and Swift have opted to continue the story from their first official single, “Everything Has Changed,” and brought in the same actors. Who have grown so much.

Starring Ava Ames and Jack Lewis, the music video shows them going the two mini Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift go their separate ways to college. But none of them can fit into the scene, however, their bond continues to be strong.
