Ed Sheeran just shared a video on Instagram where he does The Routine from Friends with Courteney Cox. Ed also seemed to be in the Reunion spirit, and he certainly got the moves.
Ed Sheeran is cooking something, and I’m not talking about food. The “Perfect” singer has been hinting that he’s going to release his fourth album soon. (I’m not adding up his latest collaboration album, No 6. Collaboration Project).
Ed owes his fans the fourth mathematical album. His debut album was + (Plus), then X (Multiply) followed.
His latest one, ÷ (Divide) came out a very, very long time ago. Which was 2017. So he definitely owes us – (Minus).
But quarantine happened, and he could focus both on his wife and newborn daughter, but also on an album. He recently released a new song, “Afterglow,” but we’re still waiting for more.
This may seem weird for you, but Courteney and Ed have been good friends for a long time. It was Ed who introduced Courteney to Snow Patrol band member Johnny McDaid in late 2013. Ed’s also a Friends fan.
Ed Sheeran joined forces with Courteney to do The Routine, from The One with the Routine (Season 6, Episode 10). Back then, Ross and Monica had managed to get on the set of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” and wanted to be in the spotlight. So they performed the routine.
Now Ed and Courteney channeled that moment, and shared it with us on Instagram. “Had a reunion of our own this weekend @courteneycoxofficial #theroutine #iknow #friends4eva #obviouslybetterthanross,” he captioned the post, alluding to the recent HBO Max reunion special.
And they almost had it.
