Elton John just collaborated with Dua Lipa for a song, “Cold Heart.” The song is a remix from Australian trio PNAU, and it’s a contemporary twist of Elton’s most famous songs.

Sir Elton John is enjoying a lot of collaborations with pop stars this year. The singer has previously collaborated with Rina Sawayama and Years & Years’ Olly Alexander. Now, Elton John has a song with Dua Lipa.

And it’s incredibly catchy.

Elton John’s longtime fans could quickly spot that it’s a mash up 1972 hit “Rocket Man,” “Kiss The Bride,” “Where’s The Shoorah?” and 1989 song “Sacrifice” (from where the song gets its new title).

The official video shows an anime version of both Dua Lipa and Elton John in a very colorful, 1980s vibe.

The pair have collaborated together in the past. They sang together “Bennie and the Jets” and “Love Again” this year at the Oscar watch party. And he also showed up on Dua Lipa’s Studio 2054 live stream.

When speaking of their collaboration, Dua Lipa shared: “Elton is such an inspirational artist and also has the naughtiest sense of humour — a perfect combination. Can’t wait to hear it everywhere this summer.”

On his side, Elton wrote on Instagram ahead of the song’s release: “Dua, I adore you, and it has been an incredible experience making this together. I can’t wait for you all to hear it!”
