You know that big production companies reconsider their ties with a person amid a big scandal. And Warner Bros is no stranger to that. As Ezra Miller has been reportedly arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct in a bar, the conglomerate held an “emergency” meeting about the star’s future with the company. Therefore, his future as The Flash. For now, the movie production company paused all of Miller’s projects, including his own The Flash movie.
After the news broke out about Ezra Miller, it didn’t take long for Grant Gustin to start trending on Twitter.
The 32-year-old actor has been the face of The CW’s The Flash since it came out in 2014. And fans have been asking WB to cast him in the movie way before they cast Ezra Miller.
And now they found the perfect opportunity to squeeze him in.
The fact that Grant Gustin is so natural as Barry Allen made the show’s hearts melt. But it looks like Warner Bros didn’t think Gustin would be a great feat in a huge blockbuster. Fans are now rallying to give him an opportunity to shine, after playing the role in more than 150 episodes.
While some might think the idea is kind of weird, it would give Gustin a better way to show his range. Given that the DC Extended Universe is far darker and more serious than his Barry Allen on The CW, it would give his career the push anyone needs.
But would Warner Bros consider him now, if they didn’t in the first place? Here’s to hoping.
