The last few days, there has been a talk about a beef between Mariah Carey and Jay Z. Mariah has decided to leave Roc Nation, and everyone thought there was a huge fight between the two A-Listers.

When there’s no smoke, there’s no fire. A few days ago, The Sun reported that Mariah Carey is leaving Roc Nation, Jay Z’s management company. But it looks like there’s no smoke.
The outlet had alleged Jay Z and Mariah had a fight in a meeting when it came to her professional future.
A source had told The Sun: “Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting which did not go well at all. She has made it clear she wants nothing more to do with him and has called it quits with Roc Nation. She will formally depart in the next few weeks.”
So how much of that is true? Is there a beef between Mariah Carey and Jay Z?
It looks like it’s not.
Mariah is now joining Range Media Partners. Which is something her manager Melissa Ruderman did. Ruderman left Roc in early 2021 to become a partner in the music division at Range. And Mariah reportedly wants to have a smaller team working with her, rather than Jay Z’s business model, according to TMZ.
When it comes to a beef, Mariah took it to social media to deny the rumors. She wrote a tweet where she used lyrics from one of Jay Z’s songs.
