Two decades after their initial relationship, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are now engaged, almost a year after rekindling romance.
One might think this story is from the early 2000s, but it’s not. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are engaged again, and this time, the wedding might actually happen.
After one marriage and several engagements, Jennifer Lopez might be actually stepping back on the aisle again.
Last March, Jennifer broke her engagement to her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. The two, who successfully had a blended family, seemed to be the real deal. Until rumors came out that Alex emotionally cheated on her.
The two tried to work on their relationship, but… it didn’t work.
So, not long after her breakup, Jennifer reconnected with her former flame, Ben Affleck. She and Ben, known as Bennifer, were the It couple of the early 2000s. But the two broke their engagement in 2004.
In April 2021, their relationship was pretty much confirmed, and they seemed happier than ever. And it was the same for the entire year.
The couple recently purchased a lavish mansion in Bel Air, Los Angeles, for more than $50 million. Which would be enough for their blended family.
So, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that they’re taking the next step in their relationship. Which is the engagement.
Jennifer went shopping with her daughter, Emme, sporting a big rock on THAT finger.
Now, Jennifer Lopez confirmed the news on her On the JLO newsletter. She shared a short video of her showing off her new engagement ring. The ring is green, and the video shows she was very emotional. It also has the first notes her song, “Dear Ben” in the background, hearing the beginning say “You’re perfect.”
