In a new interview for the upcoming Friends Reunion, Jennifer Aniston called Brad Pitt “wonderful” for his Friends role. She and Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow also named their favorite guest stars from the show.
The Friends Reunion is almost here. Set to premiere tomorrow, May 28, on HBO Max, we can’t help but get all hyped up about it.
In a new interview with Access Hollywood, the three actresses of Friends talked about their friendship, and best guest stars.
At the beginning of the interview, the girls revealed they “had” to have a huddle all six of them before the episodes. The one time they didn’t, Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder. So, naturally, they had to continue to do the huddle.
But when it comes to guest stars, Friends had almost everyone. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, Robin Williams, Bruce Willis and the list could go on forever.
During the interview, the girls commented on their favorite guest stars. They also named Paul Rudd and Tom Sellick, but they were more recurring characters.
Ben Stiller, Reese Witherspoon and Aisha Tyler were also among their favorites.
But at some point, Jennifer Aniston also said “Mr. Pitt was wonderful,” to which Lisa agreed, saying “He was fantastic.”
And, in fact, he was. Brad Pitt appeared on the show while he was still married to Jennifer. In his Friends role Brad Pitt appeared in “The One with the Rumor,” in the shows’ eighth season. He appeared as Will, who had started the I Hate Rachel Green club back in high school, alongside Ross. But, unlike Ross, he hadn’t gotten over it.
It surely was one of the funniest guest appearances on the show.
