Jennifer Lopez has just given us details on how Ben Affleck proposed to her again, and it was both romantic, and chill.
The It couple of the 2000s is back, and stronger than ever. A few days ago, Jennifer Lopez revealed Ben Affleck proposed again, and she said yes. Obviously.
Now, the triple-threat artist has shared how the actor did it. And it was chill, romantic, and on brand for the two of them.
Jennifer dished on the details on her newsletter On the JLo, and revealed that it was her “biggest dream.”
According to her, the proposal wasn’t at a five-star restaurant. It didn’t include expensive things (except the ring), but happened at her favorite place: her bubble bath.
Lopez started her letter asking: “Did you ever imagine your biggest dream could come true?“
She continued, and dished on the proposal details: “Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed. I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, “is that a yes?’” I said YES of course that’s a YES.“
She added that it was “the most perfect moment.”
Jennifer added: “I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined…just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.“
She also gave us details on her beautiful, expensive, and unique ring. She said: “Green has always been my lucky color and now, for sure, it always will be.”
So, there you have it folks. You can see that, even with a couple that’s worth millions of dollars, you can do something incredibly romantic without it being fancy, if the timing is right.
