Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez recently announced that they broke up. Following the announcement, Jennifer is reportedly leaning on her former husband, Marc Anthony, as she deals with the split from A-Rod.

Jennifer Lopez, 51, and Alex Rodriguez, 45, looked like the It couple. They looked in love, fashionable, could handle each other’s commitments and had seemed to have the recipe of success. They didn’t.
Following a two year long engagement, the couple called it quits. The couple had been surrounded by cheating rumors from Alex Rodriguez’s part, and they publicly acknowledged in March that they are together and working through some issues. But now a source claims it was Jennifer who broke it off.
The source tells People Magazine: “She insisted on it. There are are too many issues that are unresolved.” The source says Jennifer could no longer fully “trust” Alex.
Another source shared with People that she has all the support she needs amid the difficult breakup. She’s surrounded by her twins, Emme and Max, 13. She also has a lot of support from former husband, Marc Anthony. They said: “Jennifer is doing well. She is still filming [The Shotgun Wedding] in the Dominican Republic. The kids have visited her and they make her the happiest,. Jennifer and Marc Anthony have a great relationship. Having Marc around while she has had to work abroad has been very comforting for Jennifer.”
Jennifer and Marc were married for nearly eight years and split in 2012. Ever since, the couple have been co-parenting successfully.
