John Krasinski Responds to Amy Schumer’s Joke About His Marriage to Emily Blunt

Amy Schumer just made an informal review of A Quiet Place, including a joke about John Krasinski‘s marriage to Emily Blunt. Of course, John was there to comment on it.

John Krasinski is hilarious. You probably know that from The Office, but he truly is. Plus, he and Emily Blunt are totally #CoupleGoals.

John collaborated with Emily again for the sequel to A Quiet Place. The movie, which just premiered in theaters, currently has 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. It also grossed $48.4 million over the weekend.

John recently praised Emily for being such a great actress (which we knew already). He revealed that the bus scene from the first trailer was all real, with no CGI or special effects.

“Emily’s (stunt) is so real, I think I put my marriage on the line when I put her in the car. That’s true. When I was explaining to her onset all of the things that were going to happen, and I said, ‘You’re going to hit this stuntman. That car’s going to come three feet from you. And then this bus is actually going to clock at 40 miles an hour,’ her face fell and she went, ‘But not really.’ And I went, ‘No, no, the bus is coming at you at 40 miles. That’s a real bus. And that bus hits that car, and all that is totally real.”

But their efforts paid off.

Amy Schumer just took it to social media to share how much she loved the movie, and also made a joke about John and Emily and their “pretend marriage.”

She wrote: “I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away. Amazing to be in a movie theater!!”

Amy added: “and although I’ve said for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend.”

Krasinski, also responded in the comments saying, “Thank you Amy!… for blowing up our whole marriage spot.”
