Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey and More Share Support for Britney Spears

Justin Timberlake Support Britney Spears

Justin Timberlake took it to social media to share his support for Britney Spears after she asked to end her conservatorship. Mariah Carey, Halsey and Brandy are among those who also shared their support.

Britney Spears just addressed the court and asked to end her conservatorship. She gave some heartbreaking truth bombs on how she was put on medication she didn’t need, or how she can’t have babies if she wants to.

Britney said her father, Jamie Spears, was the one in charge of her every decision. Furthermore, she accused her family of not helping her.

“You can go mentally impaired if you stay on it longer than five months… I felt drunk, I couldn’t even have a conversation with my mom or dad about anything. My family didn’t do a God damn thing. Anything I had to do, [my dad] was the one who approved all of it. My whole family did nothing.”

“I’ve told the world I’m happy and OK. I’m traumatized. I’m not happy, I can’t sleep.”

You can read a more detailed script of her addressing to the court here.

Following her court appointment, several celebrities, including her ex Justin Timberlake, shared their support for Britney.

Justin wrote: “After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time. Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.”

No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.

Jess [Jessica Biel] and I send our love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts, and her family make this right and let her live however she wants to live.”

This comes a few months after the backlash he received following the Framing Britney documentary. For years, people have been accusing Justin of using Britney’s name for fame, as he constantly brings her up and their messy breakup.

But there’s no lie in what he said, she has rights over her life and body.

However, Meghan McCain and fans all over don’t believe he should be commenting on this.

Other celebrities who shared their support were Mariah Carey, Brandy, Halsey, Tinashe (with whom Brit collaborated for “Slumber Party”), Jenna Dewan and Khloe Kardashian.

We can’t wait to hear the judge’s decision, and that Britney is free again!
