The Flight Attendant‘s season 2 will be just as exciting, but in a different location. Kaley Cuoco shared some details about the upcoming season, and revealed that her character will be taking over Los Angeles next!

HBO adapted The Flight Attendant based on the Chris Bohjalian novel with the same title. While it was only supposed to be a mini series, the show was incredibly successful.

The show stars Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) as a flight attendant who deals with some serious trauma. During one of her flights, she has a fling with Alex (Michiel Huisman, The Haunting of Hill House). But when Cassie wakes up, she finds him dead next to her. With no recollection of the night before, Cassie finds herself in trouble with the FBI. So, naturally, she sets out to find out who killed him.

The story’s arc ends after its eighth episode. But HBO highlighted a second season based on its ratings. The Flight Attendant received two nominations at The Golden Globes. One for Best Actress in a Comedy Role for Cuoco, and one for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

The series November 26, 2020, and in December 2020, it received a second season. The second season will premiere in the third quarter of 2022. But in a new interview with E! News, Kaley gave us some insight into The Flight Attendant‘s season 2.

At the end of last season, Cassie was starting to get her life together. While it won’t be easy, there are big changes coming up for her. Kaley shared: “I think as far as the personal journey that I want to see Cassie go on is, you know, we start at the end of the season. She’s technically—she is sober, and she wants to live a sober life and we’re going to see her make every mistake that you make when you start out at the sober life.”

The action will also shift from New York to Los Angeles. “We moved the show to LA and Cassie will be moving to LA, which will be obviously not a good move for her. And then she’s very black and white and I think she thinks this is going to be an easy fix. Like, ‘Oh great, now I’m sober I’m going to put the past behind me’. I think she’s gonna learn super-fast that that is not how life works. And I get to be in my own bed every night, it’s a win-win.”
