Kanye West finally released his latest album, Donda. The rapper held three different listening parties in the US before releasing the album.
Kanye West is back with a new album, as he just premiered the much-anticipated Donda.
The rapper came up with the name from his late mother Donda West, who died in 2007 at the age of 58.
During his second listening party, Kanye revealed a song where he seems to sing about his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
He raps: “Time and space is a luxury / But you came here to show that you’re still in love with me.”
Kanye, who recently filed to change his name officially to Ye, raised a lot of eyebrows with his latest listening party. During the event, he recreated several scenes from his childhood, and introduced guests like DaBaby and Marilyn Manson.
In one of them, he recreated his wedding to ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
But he received quite a lot of backlash for his choice of guests. DaBaby isn’t exactly a fan favorite following his homophobic rant on stage a couple of months ago. And Marilyn Manson is currently accused of sexual abuse by different women.
But Kanye has been hinting at the album for a long time, and now he delivered.
The new album has 27 new songs, and a lot of religious content.
