A few days ago, Travis Barker had to leave the tour with Blink-182 and rush home for “urgent family matters,” and it turns out Kourtney Kardashian had an “urgent fetal surgery.“
The Blink-182 drummer rushed home from tour last Friday after the band postponed concerts due to Barker’s “urgent family matter.”
Initially, the family didn’t give any updates on what happened. However, on Sunday, Travis and Kourtney left a hospital together out of the Los Angeles-area medical center.
Now, Kourtney Kardashian revealed that she had to undergo urgent fetal surgery. The Poosh founder took to social media to share a black and white picture of her and Travis holding hands, with an IV in her arm while resting on a hospital bed.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” her post began. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.“
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing,” adding praying hands and a white heart emoji.
The Blink-182 drummer commented on the post, “God is great,” with a praying hands emoji.
Later on, Travis added his own post. He wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): “God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well,” he wrote. “I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”

Prior to finally getting pregnant, the couple was very open with their IVF struggles.
Kardashian and Barker are already parents to six children between them. Kourtney shares Reign Aston, 8, Mason Dash, 13, and daughter Penelope Scotland, 10, with ex Scott Disick. Meanwhile Barker has three children with ex Shanna Moakler, son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17 and stepdaughter Atiana, 24.
