The full trailer for Spencer just dropped, and Kristen Stewart looks like just Princess Diana. In the new snippet, Steward seems to have the perfect English accent.
The new biopic comes from Pablo Larraín, who also directed Jackie with Natalie Portman. Given his expertise, a lot of people are highly excited over the prospect of his new biopic, which will follow Princess Diana’s inner struggle as she spends Christmas with the royal family at Norfolk’s Sandringham estate.
Kristen Stewart surprised everyone with her likeness to Princess Diana, and based on the new trailer, she’s found the role of her life. Eternally awkward, there’s no other role she could have played better.
In the upcoming adaptation, Prince Charles will be Poldark star Jack Farthing, and the two will struggle with the idea of separation, taking place over the course of three days. In the new trailer, Farthing’s Charles advises: “You have to be able to do things you hate. There has to be two of you. There’s the real one and the one they take pictures of.”
After having premiered at Venice International Film Festival, critics gave the movie raving reviews, getting everyone even more excited to see Kristen shine, as there are a lot of claims she could score an Academy Award nomination.
The next season of Netflix‘s show The Crown also will focus on the People’s Princess and Prince Charles’ separation next season, with Elizabeth Debicki taking the role from
Spencer hits screens on November 5.
