Lil Nas X confirmed the identity of his former boyfriend. The singer, who recently announced he’s single again, shared he was dating Yai Ariza, the actor from his “That’s What I Want” music video.
Lil Nas X is unapologetically himself, but quite private when it comes to whom he’s dating. Barely after revealing he’s single again, the rapper shared the identity of his former boyfriend.

In an interview with SiriusXM’s Hits 1 LA, Lil Nas X responded when the interviewer asked whether the man in his new video is his boyfriend: “We were dating and we’re still on very good terms.”
But Nas has his focus on something else.
The “Old Town Road” rapper continued: “You know, we may date again I’m sure. I love him, he is amazing. I wanted to kind of focus on my music right now.” He also shared that he is “the best person I have ever dated.”
This comes after he just released his debut album, Montero.
A lot of people wondered whether Yai Ariza was Lil Nas X were dating after he released “That’s What I Want,” but he never confirmed his identity, until this new interview.
He added: “I am still very much in love, I’m like trying to manage…If it’s meant, it will happen in the future, life is long.”
