Magic Mike 3 is happening, and Channing Tatum announced he and his dance moves will be making their returns for the movie, which will debut exclusively on HBO Max.
We all remember when Magic Mike debuted in 2012, starring some of the hottest male actors in stripper roles. Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, and Matthew McConaughey were just some of the names that graced us with their dance moves and abs.
Now that Magic Mike 3 is a reality, will they come back? So far, Channing Tatum officially announced his participation, sharing a picture with the first page of the script. He wrote: “Well world, looks like Mike Lane’s tapping back in.”
The third installment in the stripper saga will be called Magic Mike’s Last Dance, and Steven Soderbergh, the director of the first movie, will be coming back at the helm.
Reid Carolin, who wrote the first two Magic Mike movies, will write the latest installment as well.
“There are no words for how excited I am to blow the doors off of the world of Magic Mike with Steven, Greg, Reid, and the amazing people at HBO Max. The stripperverse will never be the same,” said Tatum in a statement.
So far, there’s no release date for the third one. But we can’t wait.
