Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher might shock some people with their kids’ bathing habits. The couple shared they only clean their kids if they’re dirty or if they smell.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are one of the fan-favorite couples. The two have had a long history, with Ashton being Mila’s first kiss. That was on-screen at the time, as they starred in That 70s Show together.
They went their separate ways after the show, and both dated/ married other people.
But Mila and Ashton found their way back to each other, and started dating in 2012. They married in 2015, and share two children, daughter Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4.
During an interview on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, Mila and Ashton raised a few eyebrows when it comes to their children’s bathing system.
During the episode, Dax explained his ongoing argument with Monica. He thinks that she should not wash her body with soap. “You should not be getting rid of all the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day. It’s insane.”
Mila seemed to agree: “I don’t wash my body with soap every day. But I wash pits and tits and holes and soles.”
As for her Ashton, he shared “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever. I got a bar of Lever 2000 that just delivers every time. Nothing else.”
They seem to apply that to their children, as well. “When I had children. I also didn’t wash them every day. I wasn’t the parent that bathed my newborns—ever.”
Dax also revealed he and his wife Kristen Bell only bathed their daughters as part of a nighttime routine. “We could care less about their cleanliness. We haven’t washed them since. It’s been like six years.”
Kunis replied, “That’s how we feel about our children. We’re like, ‘Oof, something smells.'”
Kutcher added: “Here’s the thing—if you can see the dirt on ’em, clean ’em. Otherwise, there’s no point.”
