Dominican singer Natti Natasha has just welcomed her first child, a daughter, with her fiancé Raphy Pina. Both mother and daughter are doing okay, and they gave her a quite unique name.
The “Ram Pam Pam” singer welcomed her first child. Natasha is now mother to a baby girl named Vida Isabelle Pina Gutiérrez. her fiancé and music manager Raphy Pina on Saturday, May 22.
On Feb. 1, she and Raphy Pina announced their engagement on Instagram. She shared a photo of the gorgeous sparkling diamond ring, writing, “I SAID YES.”
Not long after, they also revealed they were expecting. But the road to a baby was troublesome for Natalia. She underwent IVF treatment, and it didn’t work at first.
She told People en Español: “I spoke with my partner Rafael [and told him]: ‘The years continue to pass, I know that work is very important…but right now the [biological] clock does not stop,'” she recalled.
Natalia also told the magazine that: “I think a lot of women wish this ever since they are little girls. So I always saw it as something that was going to happen to me, too. Obviously, given how little time you have [as a singer, it’s a little difficult.”
But it all played out, and Natti Natasha and Raphy are now very proud parents to daughter Vida.
In a statement the proud parents revealed: “Born in the South Miami hospital in Miami, their daughter is in perfect health and her parents are ecstatic and grateful for her long awaited arrival. They are also thankful for all the kindness and affection they have received throughout the entire process.
Natti’s miracle of life, Vida Isabelle Pina Gutiérrez, was born this morning on May 22, 2021, weighing in at 6.8 pounds and measuring 20 inches. The natural birth was assisted by Xiomara Martínez and Sureen Chi.”
