We finally have the first glimpse at the upcoming season two of Bridgerton, as Netflix casually shared a teaser for what’s to come. The next story will focus on Anthony and Kate.
Bridgerton premiered late last year, and it took everyone by surprise. Based on Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series, the new Shonda Rhimes-led series has become a huge hit, although, everything she touches usually does.
Everyone instantly fell in love with Rege-Jean Page. But the public was disappointed when the actor announced he will not be returning to the show.
However, the series has a different couple as its main focus, so Page had different commitments. However, the actor now seems to have hinted that he might make his return in the upcoming season two of Bridgerton.
Until then, we finally have a first glimpse at Anthony’s story. The oldest brother and a famous “rake” (Jonathan Bailey), is the head of the Bridgerton family. But time has come to find a wife.
During his pursuit, he focuses on the season’s incomparable, Edwina, he must have to get over the obvious romantic tension between him and her older sister, Kate (Simone Ashley).
While there’s no official premiere date so far, the streaming service promises they’ll make their return in 2022.
