Netflix is treating Bridgerton‘s fans with a first look at the much-anticipated season two. The historical romance will be returning on the streaming service on March 25.
The arrival of Bridgerton‘s season two is near, and Netflix is creating some hype as it released the first look. Based on the second book from Julia Quinn‘s series called The Viscount and Me, it will follow Anthony and Kate’s story.
The Shonda Rhimes-created series was a huge hit when it hit the streaming service in December 2020. Yes, it may just be because of how good Rege-Jean Page was, who may or may not return to the series. But the story is moving on.
This time, the oldest Bridgerton and a notorious “rake,” Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), is on his quest to find a wife. So, naturally, he picks the most beautiful from the ton, Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran). But as he tries to court her, he has to convince her sister, Kate (Simone Ashley).
The first look at the upcoming season show the Anthony and Kate at a ball, as well as the return of several beloved characters, including the newly-married Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor).
A different still from the upcoming season shows us exactly how Kate is different from other girls. In the shot, series lead Kate holds a rifle in hand, surrounded by male companions, including Anthony, Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his brother Jack (Rupert Young).
We also get a first look at Edwina, and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) return.
