Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey’s Documentary Debuts Emotional Trailer

Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey‘s documentary just debuted its first trailer. The documentary, The Me You Can’t See, focuses on mental health, and it features lots of cameos.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their separation from the Royal Family last year. Ever since, Prince Harry has been advocating about mental health. This is something Meghan has been focused on prior to her relationship with Prince Harry.

During their televised interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle admitted her mental health took a bad turn due to the media. While in the Royal Family, Meghan suffered a lot of attacks from the media. In fact, she still does.

But the move to the US granted the couple a lot of freedoms. Prince Harry recently spoke about the move on Dax Shephard‘s podcast Armchair Expert. He said: “Living here now I can actually lift my head and actually I feel different… you can walk around feeling a little bit more free. I get to take Archie on the back of my bicycle… I would never have had the chance to do that.”

Now Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey’s documentary in the works focuses on mental health.

In the trailer, Oprah sits opposite Harry while they discuss the importance of mental health. She said: “All over the world people are in some kind of mental, psychological, emotional pain. Being able to say, ‘This is what happened what happened to me,’ is crucial.”

Harry is also sharing his experience with mental health. The two also comment on the stigma and labels one receives while searching for help. “To make that decision to receive help is not a sign of weakness. In today’s world, more than ever, it is a sign of strength.”

And I completely agree with that.

For the docuseries, Oprah and Prince Harry aren’t the only big names. In the trailer, we see glimpses of Prince Harry‘s wife Meghan Markle, as well as superstar Lady Gaga, chef Rashad Armstead, NBA’s San Antonio Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan and Phoenix Suns’ Langston Galloway, Oscar nominated actress Glenn Close, 2021 Olympic Boxer Virginia “Ginny” Fuchs, and mental health advocate and speaker Zak Williams, the late Robin Williams‘s.

The docuseries will premiere on Apple TV on May 21.
