Actress Rebel Wilson has just revealed that a stunt accident on the set of her latest movie left her with stitches.
The actress can’t celebrate the end of filming for her latest film properly. Rebel Wilson hopped on social media to reveal that she was just had a stunt accident on set. Following that, she was left with stitches.
The Pitch Perfect actress, 43, revealed in an expired Instagram Story post that she had been injured and ended up at the hospital following a “stunt accident” on her latest movie, Bride Hard.
Wilson shared a selfie sporting a bruised nose with some blood around it. Over the shot, she wrote, “NOT the way I wanted to end this movie!”
She further explained the situation, writing, “3 stitches and in hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4 a.m.”
The actress was reportedly filming scenes for the upcoming wedding comedy Bride Hard in Savannah, Georgia, when the accident happened.
Her most recent Instagram post noted that she was “Rebelling in the South.”
If you’re wondering about the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, Wilson’s Bride Hard was allowed to continue filming as it negotiated an interim agreement and is independently produced.
The upcoming action comedy is from director Simon West (Wild Card, The Expendables 2), with Cece Pleasants and Shaina Steinberg penning the script. Wilson will be starring alongside Jeff Chase, according to the IMDb page. There is no information on other cast members yet. The movie is also heading for a Cannes market launch.
