Richard Speight Jr and Rob Benedict are launching their own podcast. And, you guessed it, it’s Supernatural themed, which will include a rewatch.
Supernatural ran for 15 seasons, and, naturally, it left a mark on fans. But it wasn’t just the fans who felt connected to the show, but all the actors, as well.
Many met thanks to working there, including main lead actor Jared Padalecki and his current wife, Genevieve Padalecki.
Lots of people felt understood while watching this show, and had a feeling of belonging.
Although the show ended over a year ago, both fans and actors are still just as involved as they were when shooting it. So, Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict just announced their new podcast, which will include a Supernatural rewatch, Deadline reports.
Speight Jr. appeared on the show as Gabriel, and Benedict as Chuck/ God, and have also starred together in the Kings of Con series.
Now, they’re launching a Supernatural rewatch podcast in collaboration with Story Mill Media, the podcast company set up by former NBC exec Steven Hein. There will be a lot of new behind-the-scenes inside information, and stories from set and writing’s room.
Each episode will feature some of the cast, crew and producers of the beloved series, and main lead actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki will be kicking off the first two episodes.
Besides the podcast, Ackles and his wife, Danneel Ackles, are also producing a spin-off prequel series about Mary and John Winchester.
The new podcast launches on January 24.
