Ricky Gervais Wins Battle Against Rabbit Meat Farm Plans

Ricky Gervais Rabbit Farm

Ricky Gervais just won a battle against a rabbit meat farm in Buckinghamshire. The actor has always been a fierce animal protector, and his campaign against the rabbit farm gathered over 80,000 votes.

It’s more to Ricky Gervais than his Golden Globes speech.

Sure, he seemed to have bothered a lot of his fellow actors. And gained massive respect from others. Ricky Gervais always calls it what it is.

Also, Ricky Gervais has created such great content. From The Office UK to The Office US, Ricky has also found new fans with the Netflix masterpiece on dealing with loss, After Life.

But besides his talent to give honest speeches that raise eyebrows, one thing that you can’t take away from him is the fierceness he uses to fight against violence towards animals.

Ricky Gervais just won a battle against a rabbit meat farm. PETA claims would have seen 10,000 baby bunnies bred and killed for food every year.

The rabbit farm planned was supposed to develop in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Amersham, Buckinghamshire.

But Ricky created a campaign where over 87,000 people voted against the rabbit farm. Which lead the council of Buckinghamshire to reject the proposal for said farm, The Daily Mail reports.

This is a major win both for animals, and Ricky Gervais. As an unofficial spokesperson for the voiceless, Ricky has created several campaigns that made a better place for animals.
