In a new interview, Sarah Shahi from Sex/Life received a question about that one *particular* shower scene Adam Demos was in. And she didn’t confirm or deny.
Sex/Life debuted a few weeks ago on Netflix, and a lot of people talked about it. Focusing on Sarah Shahi’s character who deals with a life crisis about her lack of excitement in her married life, a lot of people resonated with her. And her exciting past with an ex.
But Adam Demos’ shower scene was the most talked about. It’s highly unusual to see full frontal nudity from men (if you’re not Game of Thrones), and it was quite unexpected. Even… lengthier than we thought.
So one question rose: was Adam Demos wearing a prosthetic? He claims he didn’t.
During filming, Adam and Sarah fell in love in real life, as she was just finalizing her divorce.
In a new interview with The Skimm, which she posted on Instagram, she talked about falling in love with he co-star: “As an actor, we spend a lot of time sort of faking that kind of intimacy with somebody. But what was interesting from my point of view is to fall for the person that you’re supposed to be falling for on camera, it kind of adds an extra bit. You’re kind of like, ‘Oh, I don’t know if this is anything I could have acted.’”
But she also received a question whether he was wearing a prosthetic during the scene: “It’s just not my place to tell. A woman never kisses and tells, and neither does a gentleman, so…”
This sounds like it might me one of the unsolved mysteries of Netflix television.
