The feud continues as Shakira reportedly put a witch doll on her balcony, which is facing her ex mother-in-law’s house. All while blasting her latest song.
Shakira is not planning on stopping the attacks on her ex any time soon. Last summer, Shakira, 45, and longtime partner, Gerard Pique, announced their breakup.
The two had been together for 12 years since meeting at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, where Shakira performed the official song, “Waka Waka.” Pique, who played for his national team of Spain, appeared in her music video.
The couple also shares two boys, Milan, born in 2013, and Sasha, born in 2015. And when they announced the split, things weren’t supposed to get so messy. Oh, but messy they got.
Pique reportedly had his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, inside his house while he was still in a relationship with Shakira.
So, in return, Shakira released a diss track with producer Bizarrap, dubbed “Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53,” released in Spanish earlier this week. The song, which includes name drops and lots of disses aimed at her ex, quickly topped all the charts. The video has over 110 million views on YouTube at the moment of publication.
And it looks like her ex mother-in-law didn’t escape scot free. Because it looks like residents in the area have reported hearing Shakira “blasting the song at full volume” from her home. And the song, which includes lyrics aimed at her ex, has also something about his girlfriend and mother-in-law. Shakira also reportedly placed a witch doll on her balcony. And it faces her ex mother-in-law’s house, which you can see below.
In the diss song, Shakira sings the line: “You left my mother-in-law as my neighbor, with the press at the door, and the debt in the Treasury...”
