Taylor Swift proved that her employees do not have “Cruel Summers” as she gave bonuses totaling over $55 million to every person working on her massive The Eras Tour.
With six shows left for The Eras Tour in the U.S., all of them at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, Taylor is preparing to go beyond borders. But not before she makes sure all her employees are happy with their job.
A few days ago, news broke out that the “Bad Blood” singer treated truckers on her tour $100,000 each ahead of her concert stop in Santa Clara over the weekend. TMZ was the one to report the news.
As it turns out, the truckers weren’t the only ones making big money. Taylor Swift wanted to show her appreciation for all the workers with big bonuses.
Sources confirm to PEOPLE the pop superstar recently gave bonuses totaling over $55 million to everyone. That includes her dancers, riggers, sound technicians and catering, among others.
The massive The Eras Tour kicked off in March in Glendale, Arizona. Since then, she has entertained fans and celebrities with a 44-song setlist, with a duration of over 3 hours.
Los Angeles will host her last sold-out shows in the U.S.. After that, she goes to Mexico and Latin America starting late August. She will be heading across the pond in 2024 for shows across Europe, Asia and Australia.
Her massive tour has been praised for raising the economy. According to the Federal Reserve, Taylor Swift’s massive tour is helping boost the economy. It could help add $5 billion to the worldwide economy.
The Eras Tour has grossed more than $300 million so far according to PollStar, a trade publication for the live music industry. She sold more than 1.1 million tickets at an average price of $253.
