Ariana Grande wasn’t joking when she sang her hit single, “Thank U, Next,” because she’s doing just that with her co-star, Ethan Slater, shortly after the reveal of her divorce.

A few days ago, news broke out that Ariana Grande and her husband, Dalton Gomez, have separated and they’re heading for divorce. The two, who have been married for two years, have reportedly separated in January. Reports claim she and Gomez tried to reconcile, but it didn’t work.

Shortly after her Wimbledon outing with Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey, news broke out that Ariana and Gomez are divorcing.

It wasn’t long before fans found out that she might have moved on already. It turns out Ariana Grande, 30, is now reportedly dating her co-star Ethan Slater, 31, according to several news outlets.

Ariana and Dalton separated in January,” one source shared with People. “She and Ethan recently began dating, and he is separated from his wife.”

Grande is set to play Glinda in Universal’s film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical Wicked. Meanwhile Slater, 31, will play Boq, the love interest of Elphaba’s sister Nessarose.

The new couple met in 2022 on set and they have been spotted hanging out with the rest of the cast, as Michelle Yeoh shared in a post from March.

Slater, famous for his role as SpongeBob SquarePants in the 2017 Broadway musical of the same name, recently separated from his wife, too. He married Lilly Jay in November 2018, six years after they began dating. They also welcomed a son Ezra in August 2022.

So far, neither Ariana nor Ethan have officially shared anything about their relationship. However, Slater made his Instagram account private on Thursday.
