The Last Letter from Your Lover is Netflix‘s upcoming adaptation of Jojo Moyes‘ book. The movie debuts the first trailer where Shailene Woodley has an illicit love affair with Callum Turner.

The Last Letter from Your Lover is a new adaptation from Me Before You author Jojo Moyes. The book, written in 2008 prior to Me Before You, was also a huge success. The adaptation for the book will be available this summer on July 23.
The trailer shows us the illicit affairs of a 1960s married society woman, Jennifer Stirling (Woodley) and a writer, Anthony O’Hare (Turner). The movie takes place in two eras, one the present, where Ellie Haworth (Felicity Jones) finds the love letters between the two lovers. The second, in 1960s, where Stirling and O’Hare fall in love as he’s working on an assignment for Jennifer’s husband (Joe Alwyn). In the present, Ellie she sets out to discover whether the two got their happily ever after, while starring in a romance of her own.
Augustine Frizzell (Euphoria, Never Goin’ Back) directed the romantic drama, and Nick Payne and Esta Spalding wrote the script.
